Besides being proficient in the necessary tools of the trade such as Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Fireworks, HTML, Flash, I am always working to increase my knowledge base, and most recently have been learning PHP programming. I am very comfortable in all Office programs, and pick up new applications quickly.

My recent years freelancing have enabled me to learn from many different companies, and broaden my skill sets and experiences in ways that I might not have had the opportunity to do at just one organization. For example, working for Rep. Sue Myrick’s campaign office exposed me to many experiences, including graphic design, web design, event planning, and project management. I had the opportunity to meet several influential people and worked to secure their trust in Rep. Myrick and her campaign. Due to my strong marketing skills, I was given the opportunity to plan and execute successful fundraising events, as well.

Freelancing has also given me the opportunity to do a lot of writing, including creating copy from scratch, and a great deal of proofing and editing clients’ work. I am quite comfortable with any sort of writing or editing as I recently graduated Magna Cum Laude with a double major in English and Political Science.

I am both detail and deadline oriented, eager to take on new challenges, and always achieve my goals, whether working individually or in a team environment.
